1. The Faculty
Established in 1976, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FEE) consists of 6 departments. Faculty members total 73, including 6 Ph.D.s and 50 Masters. FEE facilities include 10 modern laboratories and 4 practice workshops.

2. Training
FEE currently has an undergraduate and graduate enrollment of 9,000 students, providing 2 Associate programs (Industrial electricity; Electricity and electronics), 5 Bachelor’s programs (Industrial electricity; Electrical automation; Industrial electronics; Telecommunications; Computer engineering), and 2 Master’s programs (Electrical equipment, network and power stations; Electronic engineering).

Scientific research
Staff and students favor applied research and have won high awards. FEE research projects have been growing both in quantity and quality with each passing year. “Ensure Enhanced Education” being our development maxim, FEE regularly organizes academic seminars on new technologies in the field and teaching – learning methods.
FEE provides consultancy and transfers technologies in the field of power transmission and distribution, energy saving, industrial automation, telecommunications, and computer engineering. We also set up projects and supply laboratory equipment to professional and vocational institutions. 

3. International cooperation
Sandwich undergraduate programs: in collaboration with Griffith University (Australia), Sunderland University (UK), National Central University and Chaoyang University (Taiwan).
Graduate programs in Electrical equipment, network and power stations: in collaboration with the University of Western Australia.
Courses in new technologies for students and customers: in collaboration with Rockwell Automation (USA), Panasonic, Omron (Japan), Foxconn (Taiwan), and others.
Job opportunities and FEE’s position in the society
Three months after graduation, 90% of our students are able to find suitable jobs. Our graduates are favored and highly valued by domestic as wells as foreign employers and have been in charge of important posts in research institutes, professional and vocational training institutions, especially in business and industry.
FEE holds a position of prestige in scientific circles, prides itself on high annual enrollments, and receives strong support and high demand from major employers.

4. Development Priorities
Become a leading faculty – in the Vietnamese technical education system – in training, scientific research, and technology transfer in electrical and electronic enigneering, gradually reaching regional and international standards.
Train qualified manpower to meet the needs of the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
Build up a friendly, dynamic and creative working environment, inducing effective teaching and learning.
